Kristen Lionetti

U.S. Liaison Office Head, Washington, D.C.

Kristen Lionetti is the Head of ICMC’s U.S. Liaison Office, where she monitors policy changes impacting migrants and refugees, liaises with institutional funders, fosters coordination with other migrant and refugee-serving organizations, and supports new project development. She began working with ICMC in 2020.

Kristen has been working for over 15 years to increase social inclusion, equity, human rights and community wellbeing through programming, operations, research and public policy. She worked previously on programming with various community-based organizations in Nicaragua and El Salvador as well as with Catholic Relief Services in Central America, on migration policy with the Jesuit Conference of Canada and the United States’ Office of Justice and Ecology, and on outreach to promote immigration legal services in the U.S. through the Catholic Legal Immigration Network (CLINIC).   

Kristen has a masters in social work from The Catholic University of America and a bachelor of arts in psychology from the University of Puget Sound.
