Philippines: New Joint Initiative for Overseas Migrant Workers

A new government–Church initiative will offer more protection to overseas migrant workers, Filipino Bishops announced on 23 September. The program aims to address documentation issues, support migrant laborers in abusive situations, and increase scholarships to children of migrant workers.
